Chulalongkorn University’s Social Research Institute is pleased to announce the international conference “STS for Resilient Futures 2026: Science, Technology, and Society in the Era of Climate and Digital Transition” on July 23–24, 2026, at the Mandarin Hotel in Bangkok. This year's theme includes: Resilience and Disaster Management; AI and Digital Transformation; Climate Sustainability, Health and Well-Being; Food Security and Biodiversity; and Energy and Green Transition. Scholars and practitioners in related topics are encouraged to submit 300-word abstracts before the Submission Deadline May 15, 2026, via email: cusriglobal@gmail.com.

"STS for Resilient Futures: Advancing research on climate, technology, and societal information" is designed as a global academic platform to advance interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together insights from science, technology, and the social sciences to inform evidence-based policymaking and social development. It also aims to promote innovation grounded in ethics and equity, while addressing the urgent challenges posed by the climate crisis and the ongoing digital transition. The initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and seeks to strengthen research and policy networks at both regional and international levels.

• Notification of Acceptance: May 30th, 2026
• Full Paper Submission: July 15th, 2026

Registration Fees

• Early Bird (until May 31st): 3,000 Thai Baht / 100 USD
• Regular (from June 1st): 4,000 Thai Baht / 125 USD
