In-person (University of Calgary)
 
Deadline for submissions: February 15^th, 2023
 
Keynote Speakers: Robin Dembroff (Yale University) and David Liebesman (University of Calgary)
 
The Department of Philosophy at the University of Calgary invites submissions from graduate students for its 11^th Annual Philosophy Graduate Conference. We welcome submissions that explore the overlaps between social justice issues and social ontology. Possible topics include but are not limited to:
 

1. Race and reparations
2. Gender and transfeminist politics
3. Medicalisation and social marginalisation
4. Money and economic policy
5. Institutions and political philosophy
6. Group agency and collective responsibility
7. Conceptual engineering
8. Culture, race, and philosophy of science
9. Language and language rights

 
We especially encourage submissions from members of marginalised groups.
