The SOCHIFIC Congress will celebrate our Society's 10th anniversary, establishing a permanent event that delivers space for the discussion, exchange of ideas, and dissemination of investigation in philosophy of science by both Chilean and international scholars.\n\nThe philosophy of science extends beyond classrooms and university offices, playing a significant role in knowledge generation, social practices, and public policy, affecting everyday issues concerning science’s roles in society. The panel must have a responsible organizer who submits the proposal. Presentation time considers 20 minutes per participant plus 30 minutes for Q&A).\n\nSymposium: an extended abstract on the general topic of discussion, the symposium's objectives, and central points to be discussed should be submitted (maximum 600 words). In addition, short (maximum 100 words) and extended abstracts (maximum 600 words) of at least five papers included in the symposium (maximum 7) must be submitted. The symposium must have a responsible organizer who must submit the proposal. The presentation time will be 30 minutes for each paper and 50 minutes for discussion, to be distributed by the organizer according to need and preference.\n \nSUBMISSIONS\nProposals should be sent to congreso.sochific@gmail.com. The message's subject should be ‘Paper Proposal,’ ‘Communication Proposal,’ ‘Round Table Proposal,’ or ‘Symposium Proposal,’ as appropriate.\n\nDeadline: 30 June 2025.\n\nConference languages: Spanish and English.\n\nAll papers must be prepared under the double-blind peer review system, and they must clearly indicate in which thematic area they should be included for evaluation.
