Final Registration Reminder |
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Pittsburgh this week! A quick reminder - all attendees and speakers must be registered for the conference. If you have not done so, it would be prudent to do so before you arrive; registration prices increase this Thursday. |

Thank you to all who donated to the PSA Travel Fund or made a comparable donation to the PSA General Fun. Requests for PSA Travel Funds increased nearly tenfold from PSA 20/21 to PSA 2022. Your donation helped us address some of the increased demand for international travel assistance for PSA 2022. |

As this year’s PSA conference is approaching, we are ramping up our social media presence. Our official hashtag is #PSA2022
If you want to follow along with or join in on all the chatter on Twitter, be sure to use our hashtag. We will also be live-tweeting some of the sessions this year, including the President’s Plenary. If you couldn’t join us this year in person, this might be a fun way to follow along. For those joining us who also want to live tweet, please be sensitive and respectful to our speakers, chairs, volunteers, and fellow attendants.
In case you were already wondering, the WiFi password in the meeting spaces will be: PSA2022
And please don’t forget to follow us on Twitter (@PhilSciAssoc) and like us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/philsciassociation). |

New for PSA2022! We have established a PSA Ombuds Office.
The Ombuds service of the PSA provides confidential and impartial assistance with PSA-related experience, conflict, communication, informal complaint resolution, and problem-solving.
PSA Ombuds are independent and neutral persons with whom all society members and conference attendees at all levels may correspond or speak confidentially, informally, and off-the-record about PSA-related concerns or questions.
Ombuds can facilitate the informal resolution of an issue, if requested by a respondent and when informal resolution is a better fit for the situation than is escalation to more adversarial, costly, and time-consuming formal processes. But Ombuds will neither make recommendations nor take action unless such aid is requested by a respondent.
Please reach out to PSA Ombuds Joyce C. Havstad or Deputy Ombuds Anya Plutynski, in person or via email sent to ombuds@philsci.org as needed. Respondents should feel free to write anonymously if preferred.

Just a quick reminder that we will be following CDC guidelines for COVID precautions at PSA2022. As of today, the community level is LOW in Allegheny County. There will be masks available at our registration table and there are rapid tests available upon request (located in the PSA Office).
We ask that you respect the choices of your friends and colleagues - masking makes some people feel more comfortable in social settings and not all of us are fortunate enough to be able to be fully vaccinated. |

We hope that you enjoy your time in Pittsburgh. If you have any questions or concerns, please come to the PSA registration desk or visit the PSA Office in the Stanwix room. Alternatively, you can email office@philsci.org or director@philsci.org if you need assistance.
